Dina Tamimi

Dina Tamimi has over fifteen years of experience in Global Fortune 500 companies with geographical responsibilities and coverage including the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia/CIS.

For the past nine years, Ms. Tamimi has been a leader at Cisco focusing on Sports & Entertainment and Smart + Connected Communities (S+CC) in solution sales and consulting sales and delivery. Ms. Tamimi is leading Cisco’s business development and consulting delivery in the Consulting Services (CCS) practice, covering Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia (EMEAR) and specializing in Sports and Entertainment. Ms. Tamimi has developed a value proposition for Cisco’s sports-related S+CC Consulting Services offering having previously led the Sports & Entertainment Solutions Group team for EMEAR and Latin America for several years. Prior to that, she was part of the S+CC team specializing in stadiums, sports communities and mega sports events.

At Cisco, Ms. Tamimi’s geographical focus has been Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa while actively supporting sports projects on a global level. She has led consulting and solutions teams in identifying and implementing innovative technology services in stadiums and mega events around the world to provide maximum business impact. She has worked with stadium owners, operators, service providers, media and entertainment companies, design and construction firms and other stakeholders in the stadium and mega event life cycle.

Ms. Tamimi developed Cisco’s strategy and value proposition in mega sports events including the FIFA World Cups in South Africa and Brazil, the 2012 London Olympic Games, the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games to name a few. She is currently focused on innovation and strategy for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Some of the key results in her work include enhancing the fan experience and generating new revenue streams for her clients based on customized requirements in each country and with each stadium. In 2010, Ms. Tamimi won the One Cisco Sales Innovation Award based on her leadership and innovative techniques with her customers, colleagues and partners during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, whereby she increased Cisco’s revenue streams from $3 million to over $60 million in incremental sales opportunities in 2009 and 2010.

Prior to joining Cisco, Ms. Tamimi was Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Emaar Properties (one of the world’s largest real estate developers), Sales Leader at Microsoft in the Gulf and a Senior Consultant at Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington, D.C. working on projects in the US and Europe. Ms. Tamimi has a proven track record in global business development, building executive relationships in the public and private sectors and managing cross-functional teams in a wide variety of industries.
