Vincent Reulet has been appointed as Environment Expert within the Football Social & Responsibility division at the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), Switzerland, in 2022. As part of UEFA Sustainability strategy – Strength Through Unity – Vincent is in charge of the 4 Environmental policies: Circular Economy, Climate & advocacy, Sustainable Events and Sustainable Infrastructure, aligned with engagement taken with international standards; The Paris Agreement on Climate Change, the UN Sports for Climate Action Framework, the European Climate Pact and the European Green Deal.
After graduating with a Master in Physics at Univerité Paul Sabatié, Toulouse III, Vincent worked for Météo-France, the French Weather Institute but decided to specialise in sustainability and climate change with a MSc. in Environmental Physics at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. Ever since he worked in multitude of international projects with large corporate groups (Philip Morris International, Crédit Agricole, SAB Miller, Nestlé to name a few) either on the carbon accounting or reduction strategy to mitigate risks toward climate change legislation; i.e. carbon footprint of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
