Twickenham Stadium with its redevelopment of the East Stand, will be introducing a new catering option to its corporate clients, ‘Manapé’ according to media reports. The canapes for a larger appetite, will be more generous sized portions of its traditional counterpart for a hearty and filling alternative.

According to Thomas Rhodes, Executive Head Chef, Twickenham Stadium, “The Manape selection sits somewhere between canapes and bowl food in size. We want to provide a more substantial option for guests but still allow them the chance to experience something a little different. This is Twickenham, home of England Rugby, and through the East Stand proposition we’re trying to offer something new. The manapé is one of a number of new ideas we’re presenting to our clients.”

The venue’s team is making an effort to bring not just a new renovated space but also offer a range of innovative catering options to inspire the clients to try new alternatives. The additional 6,700 square metre of space will also offer traditional formal dinner options with some modern style catering.

“We are very excited to offer over six new event spaces as a result of our East Stand refurbishment. The variety of space on offer adds to the wealth of options for events at Twickenham, especially for bespoke events and private hire”, said Nils Braude, Catering and C&E Director at Twickenham. “Our manapés are fun but still substantial. It provides event organisers with the chance to set themselves apart from their peers from the outset.”

The launch of England Rugby Hospitality, a new venture which has made Rugby Football Union (RFU) the exclusive provider for all hospitality at Twickenham Stadium from Autumn 2018. The new spaces will provide a range of options for corporate events and private functions on non-match days throughout the year, managed by Twickenham Experience, reported Twickenham Experience website.
