Christy Briggs is the Logistics & Sustainability Manager for Lumen Field and the Seattle Seahawks. Briggs has been with the venue since 2013 and has been focused on sustainability since 2018. In her role, Briggs oversees the stadium and practice facility’s overall sustainability strategy and initiatives, including its waste, recycling, and composting programs.

Under Briggs’ leadership, the venue, which averages more than 300 event days and 2 million guests each year, now diverts more than 90% of waste from the landfill. As a result of its sustainability efforts, Lumen Field has been internationally recognized with numerous awards, including The Stadium Business’ 2018 Sustainability & Community Award and the Environmental Protection Agency’s 2019 Very Large Business Partner of the Year Award and the Green Sports Alliance Energy Player Award. Since 2021, Briggs has also served on the board for Green Sports Alliance.
