Ian White serves as the Global Business Development Lead for Sports at renowned French audio innovator L-Acoustics, where he directs the company’s worldwide strategy for the sports sector. In this role, Ian collaborates closely with stakeholders across both professional and amateur sports venues to deliver best-in-class audio solutions.
With a career rooted in the technologies that shape the live sports experience—including audio, video, and lighting—Ian has developed deep expertise in creating immersive atmospheres for fans and athletes alike. Prior to joining L-Acoustics, he held leadership roles at industry powerhouses such as Daktronics, Ephesus, and Samsung, where he helped bring to life some of the most iconic digital displays in Times Square.
Ian’s passion for the visual and experiential side of sports extended beyond business into advocacy. He served on the Board of Directors for the California Sign Association, where he championed the interests of member companies and helped municipalities modernize signage ordinances to better support economic growth.
A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Ian earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Utah, where he also served as president of the nationally recognized student section, The MUSS—an organization that received a “Herbie Award” from ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit. He later completed his MBA in Sports Management and Global Business at The George Washington University, including international studies focused on mega-events like the Olympics and FIFA World Cup.
Ian now lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Alba, their four children, and their beloved pup, Tinker Belle.
