Allegiant Stadium receives certification

As part of its commitment to sustainable policies and programs that minimize its environmental footprint, the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada (US) – home of the National Football League (NFL) team Las Vegas Raiders – announced on July 17th that it has been awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

It is the home stadium for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels college football team. ‘allegiant stadium’ further stated that in addition to the LEED Gold Certification, the Allegiant Stadium was recently recognized by the Green Sports Alliance at its annual summit, receiving a 2023 Play to Zero Award for its waste diversion program. These recognitions cement Allegiant Stadium and the Las Vegas Raiders as leaders in sustainability in sports, entertainment and the corporate event market.
