The Brazilian professional association football club – the Esporte Clube Bahia – recently presented the project of a giant training center boasting 12 fields, a mini-stadium for 1,000 people, a hotel, and more.
‘ONEFOOTBALL’ stated that in partnership with the City Football Group the ‘Tricolor’ will build the City Football Academy (CFA) in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador (Brazil), about 40 minutes from the Bahia’s home ground – the Arena Fonte Nova.
The Esporte Clube Bahia is a Brazilian professional association football club based in Salvador, the capital city of the Brazilian State of Bahia. They play in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the highest division of the Brazilian football league system.
The Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova is a football-specific stadium located in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, with a maximum capacity to pack in 47,902 people. Its primary tenant is the Esporte Clube Bahia.
Manchester (UK)-based the City Football Group Limited (CFG) is a British-based holding company that administers the association football clubs. The group is owned by three organizations of which 81 percent is majority-owned by the Abu Dhabi United Group, 18 percent by the American firm Silver Lake and one (1) percent by the Chinese firms China Media Capital and the CITIC Capital.
‘ONEFOOTBALL’ further stated that the inauguration of the training center is scheduled for 2027.
