Multiyear Deal

The celebration began with an acknowledgment that all were gathered on the ancestral lands of the Seneca Nation. The land acknowledgement read, “The Buffalo Bills acknowledge that we gather and work on the traditional homelands of the Seneca Nation, the Keepers of the Western Door of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We recognize and honor the Seneca people’s enduring connection with these lands and waters and honor their past, present and future contributions to our region and the Western New York Community.”
The Seneca Nation is a federally recognized Native American tribe and the largest nation within the Iroquois Confederacy (Haudenosaunee). Historically known as the ‘Keepers of the Western Door’ they originally inhabited Western New York and currently operate three sovereign territories in the region.

The officials from the Seneca Resorts & Casinos, the Buffalo Bills, the Seneca Nation, and the invited guests gathered in the Seneca Resorts & Casinos Field Club inside the Highmark Stadium. Located at field level near the Bills sideline the area will feature an exceptional 16,500-square-foot event space offering a highly immersive experience with views into the player tunnel, direct access to a patio just behind the team’s bench and complimentary food and non-alcoholic drinks. The vibrant area includes angled bars and team-themed decor.
