‘Coliseum’ chock-full 2024 event calendar

Coliseum US 2024 Events calendar

Coliseum GSVA & Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

‘Coliseum’ is the only global sports venue alliance holding summits around the world and this makes ‘Coliseum’ unique and in a class of its own. The cherry on the cake is the unique summit format with best-practice case studies, no panel discussions, no breakout sessions, and always hosted in a stadium.

With the venue industry top honchos gracing the Coliseum Summits held in different parts of the globe every year and delivering their information-laden presentations, the entire exercise has become an enriching experience for the delegates who attend the same.

The recently concluded Coliseum Summit US in Los Angeles was a resounding success with the movers and shakers of the stadium industry’s presentations proving to be total engrosser.

Now, ‘Coliseum’ has rolled out its event calendar for the first half of 2024 which is chock-a-block:

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has hit the big time vis-à-vis holding of big-ticket sporting events and the Gulf kingdom is making dizzying investment in sport.

Saudi Arabia is rapidly increasing its sporting portfolio – tennis, cricket, wrestling, golf, football, motorsport, chess, you name it…

Riyadh – the capital of Saudi Arabia – is blooming with sporting activities and the new Olympic Village in Riyadh is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

For Saudi Arabia, sport is the new oil.

United Kingdom

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the home of the Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur F.C. in North London, replacing the club’s previous ground, the now-demolished 36,284-capacity White Hart Lane Stadium in London. With a seating capacity of 62,850, it is the third largest football stadium in England and the largest club ground in London.

The eminent architecture firm Populous-designed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is state-of-the-art and is a sight to behold! It is topped with a glass walkway where visitors can walk out to touch the cockerel above the stand.

United States

The Kansas City is a sports town. Between the Major League Baseball (MLB) team Kansas City Royals baseball (a new stadium for the Royals is being planned) and the National Football League (NFL) team Kansas City Chiefs – major renovation plans for their 76,416-capacity home ground the Arrowhead Stadium is being discussed – football to Sporting KC soccer and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) at the 48,000-capacity Kansas Speedway, there’s always a game to catch.

Moreover, in March next year, the soccer-specific Kansas City Current Stadium is scheduled to be completed and opened and will serve as the residence of the Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Once completed, it will be the first privately-financed stadium purpose-built exclusively for a professional women’s soccer team.

The University of Kansas City is heavily investing in its sports facilities infrastructure.

Kansas City is the home of sports architecture. The Coliseum Summit will honor this fact with a special event feature.

The ‘Coliseum’ Summit LATAM first live event will be held in Mexico in October 2024. Coliseum held its maiden LATAM online meet in 2021.

And that is not all… ‘Coliseum’ will launch an additional global initiative in December this year.
