‘WIGAN ATHLETIC’ further stated that as part of the day’s activities the junior players enjoyed a morning of football and rugby league-based activities before taking a tour alongside the community members around the new facility including the new gym, the changing and medical zones and engaging with the key stakeholders involved in the development of the site.

The redevelopment of the Edge Hall Road training facility is a fundamental statement in the club’s aspirations for the women and girls’ pathway which will see the enhanced facilities support both Women’s Football and Rugby League development.
