The Premier League team Everton Football Club has confirmed that the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool, England (UK) will host the England Women’s Final FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ qualifying group fixture against Ukraine on June 9th, 2026 (8 pm kick-off).
‘evertonfc.com’ stated that the Lionesses (England Women’s senior national football team) will become the first England team to play at Everton’s new waterfront home since it opened last Summer marking another significant milestone in the stadium’s growing international story.

The 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup™ is scheduled to be the 10th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™, the quadrennial international Women’s football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament will include 32 teams for the second time after the FIFA announced the expansion of the tournament in July 2019.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium has already underlined its status as a global sporting destination. The venue has hosted the Rugby League’s Ashes clash between Great Britain and Australia and will stage England vs. Fiji (island sovereign State in Oceania) this Summer as part of Fiji’s inaugural Nations Championship campaign. The Rugby League’s Magic Weekend will also be held at the stadium this Summer.
The Nations Championship is a planned biennial international Men’s rugby union competition which is scheduled to take place in the mid-year and end-of-year international windows in the even-numbered years with the inaugural edition beginning in 2026.

The June fixture follows an April double-header in which England face Spain at the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium connected by EE in London on April 14th before marking the Lionesses’ 500th fixture in the away match against Iceland in Reykjavik (capital and largest City in Iceland) on April 18th.
