The National Hockey League (NHL) team Nashville Predators have announced that $650 million of renovations are coming to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee (US).
The Coliseum Summit US will be held in Nashville from June 25th-26th, 2025.
‘WSMV4’ stated that plans are for renovations to begin in 2027 with an expansion of about 175,000 square feet of the arena.
The Nashville Predators are a professional ice hockey team based in Nashville, Tennessee (US). The Predators compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference. The team has played its home games at the Bridgestone Arena since 1998.
The 20,000-capacity Bridgestone Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Completed in 1996 it is the home of the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL).
‘WSMV4’ further stated that two connected towers are expected to be constructed by 2030.
So, where will the money come from? The Predators say it’ll come from ticket sales and sales tax revenue generated inside the Bridgestone Arena.
Renovated Arena Features:
- An additional 600-700 seats to the arena’s capacity;
- A bigger concourse and more bathrooms;
- More space for retail/restaurant offerings;
- New entrance on Rep. John Lewis Way;
- New 100,000 square feet of restaurant/retail space across four levels;
- New 75,000 square feet for restaurant/retail space; and
- Replacing the concrete exterior with windows/open-air concourses/digital screens.
