The U.S. Bank Stadium has started selling pregame tours that highlight gameday preparations before select National Football League (NFL) team Minnesota Vikings home games.

‘Minneapolis/St.Paul Business Journal’ stated that ‘The Ultimate Touchdown Tour’ will cost $99 per person, though it is free for children aged five and under with an accompanying adult, and take fans behind the scenes to the Viking’s locker room, broadcast spaces and onto the field. The tour will take two hours and end with fans being able to play on the turf and take photos on the 50-yard-line.

The 66,655-capacity U.S. Bank Stadium is an enclosed stadium located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota (US). Built on the former site of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, the indoor stadium opened in 2016 and is the home of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). It also hosts early season college baseball games of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, US. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the National Football Conference North division. Founded in 1960 as an expansion team, the team began play the following year.

‘Minneapolis/St.Paul Business Journal’ quoted John Drum, U.S. Bank Stadium General Manager, as stating in a statement sent out, “With special access to experience the Vikings Locker Room being set, see the broadcast teams loading in equipment, and get a chance to play on the field, we’re excited to share the energy in this building prior to our football events with fans and guests from all over the world.”

Other elements of the tour include stops at the stadium art collection and premium clubs and suites as well as explanations about the stadium’s architecture and sustainability efforts.
