Formula 1 has announced the calendar for the 2023 International Automobile Federation (FIA) Formula One World Championship, which has been approved by the World Motor Sport Council.
‘F1’ stated that kicking off in Bahrain on March 5th and concluding in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on November 26th, the season will feature a record-breaking 24 races, with China and Qatar set to return, and Las Vegas (US) arriving as the penultimate round for a Saturday night race.
London (UK)-based Formula One is the highest class of international racing for open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile.
Paris (France)-based the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile is an association established on June 20th, 1904 to represent the interests of motoring organizations and motor car users. To the general public, the FIA is mostly known as the governing body for many auto racing events, such as the well-known Formula One.
The World Motor Sport Council is a major organ within the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile’s governance structure. Its primary role is amending current regulations and drafting new regulations for all of international motor sport.
‘F1’ further stated that the traditional Summer break will remain in August, though changes to race dates see Belgium move to the end of July as a back-to-back with Hungary, while the Netherlands is twinned with Italy after the restart.
Pre-season testing has also been confirmed, and will take place over three days at the 70,000-capacity Bahrain International Circuit in Bahrain from February 23rd to February 25th.

- May 21st – Emilia Romagna Grand Prix – the 78,000-capacity Imola Circuit in Imola, Emilia-Romagna, Italy;
- May 28th – Monaco Grand Prix – the 37,000-capacity Circuit de Monaco in La Condamine and Monte Carlo, Monaco;
- June 4th – Spanish Grand Prix – the 140,700 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain;
- June 18th – Canadian Grand Prix – the 1,00,000-capacity Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada;
- July 2nd – Austrian Grand Prix – the 105,000-capacity Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Styria, Austria;
- July 9th – British Grand Prix – the 150,000-capacity Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom;
- July 23rd – Hungarian Grand Prix – the 70,000-capacity Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary;
- July 30th – Belgian Grand Prix – the 70,000-capacity Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot, Belgium;
- August 27th – Dutch Grand Prix – the 1,05,000-capacity Circuit Zandvoort in Zandvoort, Netherlands;

- November 26th – Abu Dhabi Grand Prix -the 60,000-capacity Yas Marina Circuit in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is an endurance-focused sports car race held annually near the town of Le Mans, France. It is the world’s oldest active endurance racing event.
