Allegiant Stadium will soon have a new hospitality provider as Levy Premium Foodservice is being replaced by Oak View Group in the role.
KTNV said Levy Premium Foodservice, the stadium’s current concession partner, has been operating at Allegiant since the Las Vegas Raiders made the move from Oakland to Las Vegas in 2019.
The 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium is a domed multipurpose stadium located in Paradise, Nevada, Southwest of adjacent Las Vegas (US). Opened in 2020, it is the home field of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL).
Since opening, Levy has been a part of the stadium’s many sporting events, concerts and conferences that have attracted visitors from around the world.
Levy is a restaurant and hospitality company based in Chicago (US) specializing in providing food and beverage (F&B) to major entertainment and sports venues.
According to Levy, the reason for their departure is because Raiders owner Mark Davis is selling a minority stake of the team to Ego Durban, the co-CEO of the Silver Lake private equity firm.
They said Silver Lake has a substantial investment in Oak View Group (OVG), a concessionaire competitor to Levy.
Levy said in a statement, “While we’re incredibly proud of our work at Allegiant Stadium, and our strong reputation as the leaders in the industry, the common ownership interest of both the Raiders and OVG was impossible to overcome.
“We want to thank the Raiders for the partnership and memories. To Raider Nation, it’s been an honor to serve you, host you and celebrate the community with you.”
Raiders president Sandra Douglass Morgan said: “The Raiders are thrilled to announce our new food and beverage partnership with Oak View Group – a collaboration that lays the foundation for expanding the fan experience for years to come.
“Together with Allegiant Stadium, we are committed to delivering top-tier service, outstanding food and beverage options, and dynamic entertainment that transform every game day and event into an unforgettable experience.
“We look forward to an exciting future with OVG where our fans enjoy even more ways to connect with the Raiders and fully embrace every moment at Allegiant Stadium.”
Chris Granger, president OVG360, said: “As venue owners ourselves, we recognise that every detail matters in creating a truly exceptional experience. We are excited to work alongside the Raiders with our shared commitment to community impact, gracious hospitality, and relentless innovation, ensuring that together, we’ll shape an unparalleled experience for all who visit this iconic venue for years to come. We look forward to serving the Las Vegas community and Raider Nation with pride.”
It’s unclear what will happen to more than 1,000 employees who could face layoffs by the end of March, according to a WARN notice posted earlier this month.
Employees under Levy may not have to lose their jobs though. According to OVG Hospitality many former Levy employees will have the opportunity to have their positions transferred or will be hired back.
Ken Gaber, the president of OVG Hospitality, told KTNV, “We are excited to partner with the Raiders and Allegiant Stadium and are focused on ensuring a smooth transition for all hospitality employees. We will be connecting with all concessions, premium, culinary, and bartending staff in the coming days and will prioritize hiring back existing employees, both full-time and part-time, and both front of the house and back of house.
“We are committed to working with all parties to make the process as seamless and efficient as possible.”
