Kroenke tie up with Legends to offer fans epicurean feasts

Kroenke and Legends in Denver

Kroenke / Legends

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment has announced an association spanning several years with Legends who excel in global planning, sales and hospitality. Legends will become Kroenke’s new food and beverage concessionaire at Pepsi Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and Paramount Theatre, located in the Denver Metro area.

The food and beverage services at each facility will be monitored by Legends. It has already started operating in Pepsi Center and its services extend throughout the building, including the lower level, club level, suites, theater boxes, upper level, special event catering and restaurant dining programs.

Pepsi Center has been the epicenter of entertainment in the Rocky Mountain Region for the past 20 years. We are extremely excited to move into the next era of food and beverage offerings with our new service provider, Legends. Concessions are a huge part of the event experience and KSE couldn’t be more enthusiastic about the future offerings at our Denver-area venues,” exulted KSE EVP/COO Matt Hutchings.

He further said, “The ability to provide our patrons top-quality food and beverage service and selection at our venues is of utmost importance to both KSE and Legends.”

A new endeavor – Local Eats – is being introduced through the length and breadth of Pepsi Center in order to add more value to the food and beverage offerings. The whole initiative places import on the thriving Denver culinary scene thus ensuring there is something for every patron to enjoy.

The arena is all set to become not only the entertainment capital of the region, but also a culinary destination with the crème de la crème of restaurateurs tickling the taste buds of foodies and artisans providing a wide variety of selections.

To offer guests a redesigned premium culinary program, award winner James Beard and celebrated chef of Denver Jennifer Jasinski will be partnering with Pepsi Center. Guest chef nights throughout the season will also be on offer. Rioja, Bistro Vendôme, Euclid Hall, Stoic & Genuine and Ultreia in Downtown Denver are all owned by Jasinski and her Crafted Concepts team. They will work in tandem with Pepsi Center’s executive chef, James Versfelt, to transform Pepsi Center into one of the city’s most
sought-after dining destinations.

Effective December 1, 2019 and January 1, 2020, respectively, Legends will take over the reins of food and beverage operations for premium, general concessions and catering at Paramount Theatre and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

“Strategically aligning with the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment team, Legends’ hospitality team saw a great opportunity to deliver our best in class culinary experience in Denver, starting at Pepsi Center,” said Dan Smith, President, Legends Hospitality Division.

“We’re anxious to get started in Denver and offer fans a taste of our exceptional culinary acumen,” he further remarked.

Pepsi Center will also rope in other food and beverage connoisseurs throughout all areas of the building, and local guest chefs will create bespoke menus, rotating wines of the month curated by a master sommelier, a mobile cart serving hot dim sum straight from the pan, right from the oven baked goods and improved service levels from the newly trained staff.
