MLB is planning a full and normal schedule for 2022 season

The Major League Baseball (MLB) announced the master schedule for the 2022 regular season, which will open on March 31st, with all 30 teams in action.

This is the first part of the MLB master schedule with the concluding part to follow.

The ‘Major League Baseball’ stated that the Opening Day is jam-packed with intrigue, as the schedule features 11 divisional matchups in addition to one Interleague showdown between the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros at the latter’s residence – the 41,168-capacity Minute Maid Park in Houston (US). Jackie Robinson Day on April 15th also has a full slate of 15 games, including a matchup between the Cincinnati Reds and the Los Angeles Dodgers at the latter’s digs – the 56,000-capacity Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (US), the site of the 92nd All-Star Game on July 19th.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) is an American professional baseball organization and the oldest of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. A total of 30 teams play in Major League Baseball: 15 teams in the National League and 15 in the American League.

Interleague Play throughout the season will feature the AL East vs. the NL Central, the AL Central vs. the NL West and the AL West vs. the NL East.
