Paris 2024 (France) has launched a website which lists potential training camp venues for athletes competing at the Summer Olympics and Paralympics in three years’ time.
‘inside the games’ stated that more than 770 venues are listed, with athletes, National Olympic Committees and National Paralympic Committees able to select where to train based on their needs.
The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, and commonly known as Paris 2024, is a forthcoming international multisport event that is scheduled to take place from July 26th to August 11th, 2024 in Paris, France.

‘inside the games’ further stated that every facility has been awarded the ‘Terre de Jeux 2024’ label, which Paris 2024 claims guarantees high quality equipment and surroundings.
The website is available in English, Spanish and French and includes a search engine so users can find facilities which suit them, such as onsite accommodation, a weights room, a sauna or an infirmary (a large medical facility).
Potential training camps are located in every region of France and 95 of its 101 departments. This includes Réunion in the Indian Ocean (French overseas department and overseas region) and New Caledonia in the Pacific (a special collectivity of France in the southwest Pacific Ocean).
Users will be able to learn about their host area using the website, allowing visiting teams to discover local tourism, culture, food, and history.
New venues are set to be added regularly, including sites for the additional Paris 2024 sports – breaking, climbing, skateboarding, and surfing – which will be revealed in October this year.
