First milestone reached: Six Flags opened December 31st

The opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City on December 31 marks the first tangible milestone within Qiddiya City’s Resort Core and provides an early indication of how the destination is being phased and activated. As the first major attraction to welcome visitors, the park establishes an operational reference point for future assets within the development, including Aquarabia, Speed Park Track and major sports venues. Its opening signals the transition of Qiddiya City from a construction-led mega-project to a live, visitor-facing destination.
 

Qiddiya Projects timeline

Phase 1 (2025–2028):

Six Flags Theme Park; Aquarabia Water Park; Speed Track; National Tennis Center; Golf courses; 15 hotels.

Phase 2 (2028–2030):

Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium; Performing Arts Center; Dragon Ball Park; Esports Arena; a collection of hotels and residences.

Final Phase (2030–2034):

Completion of most sports facilities including gyms and swimming facilities; completion of the gaming and esports zone; additional parks and hotels.
