Premier League club Everton Football Club’s planning applications for a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock (UK) and community-led legacy project at Goodison Park is all set to be determined by the Liverpool City Council very soon.
evertonfc.com sources stated that the local authority will convene a special planning committee meeting on February 23rd, 2021, to decide whether to give the green light to Everton FC’s plans for a new 52,888-capacity waterfront stadium and the club’s outline application for a reimagined Goodison Park.

The 52,888-capacity Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium is a proposed football stadium by Everton on the Bramley-Moore Dock in Vauxhall, Liverpool, England. The dock itself was built in 1848. The stadium is proposed to be opened in time for the start of the 2023-24 Premier League seasons, replacing Goodison Park.

If the club’s proposals are approved by the City Council’s planning committee, the plans will then automatically be referred to the Secretary of State for Housing Communities and Local Government. This is standard practice for a development of this size and scale.
Everton, being advised by CBRE UK Planning & Development team, has worked in close collaboration with the Liverpool Planning Authority, Historic England and other stakeholders for the past 12 months to shape the application and ensure the required details are included to enable the proposals to be appropriately considered by the planning committee.
