Geiger Engineers’ consulting practice is dedicated to providing engineering services to design professionals, owners, producers, and contractors for public assembly, sports and entertainment venues, and events. Working together for forty years, principals of the firm have been directly involved in the construction of well over one hundred major sports facilities, representing a total aggregate seating capacity in excess of a million seats. From our offices in Suffern, NY USA we have completed significant projects across the United States, Canada, and Mexico as well as in England, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia.

The firm regularly provides engineering services for entertainment productions, including the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympic Games, the Pan Am Games, halftime shows for the NFL Superbowl, MTV Video Awards, the Academy Awards, the Grammys, Cirque du Soleil, and touring productions. Geiger regularly provides assessments of facility structures for their capacity to support show rigging.

Geiger Engineers has unique expertise in all aspects of stadium and arena structures, long span roof systems, tension membrane structures, seating decks, and framing systems suited to the building type. We design mechanisms for operable roofs and special structures. We provide construction engineering services to builders of sport facilities.
