John is an award-winning architect and Design Principal at HOK’s London studio, as well as International Director of Sports and Entertainment. He has extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams on a wide range of projects, including stadiums, arenas, and performance venues. John specialises in creating sports and entertainment destinations that act as catalysts for urban regeneration. He is adept at delivering high-impact designs within tight budget constraints, having developed innovative strategies to maximise value for money.

With a deep understanding of the experiential nature of performance, sport, and leisure architecture, John also brings insight into the commercial and operational drivers behind these venues. Some of John’s notable completed projects include Roig Arena in Valencia, Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Expo 2020, Leeds Arena and Silverstone Circuit & Paddock Facilities.
