It will replace the Ralph Wilson Stadium as the home field of the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL) starting from the 2026 NFL season.
The 71,608-capacity Ralph Wilson Stadium (colloquially known as ‘The Ralph’) is a defunct stadium in Orchard Park, New York (US) in the Southtowns of the Buffalo Metropolitan area. It served as the home venue of the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL) from 1973 to 2025. The stadium opened in 1973 as the Rich Stadium and remained that until 1998. It was known as the Ralph Wilson Stadium from 1998 to 2015, the New Era Field from 2016 to 2019, the Bills Stadium in 2020, and the Highmark Stadium from 2021 until its closure following the 2025 season. The stadium is set to be demolished in March 2027 following the construction and opening of its replacement – the New Highmark Stadium.

Officially named the New Highmark Stadium this state-of-the-art venue is designed to reflect the identity of the Buffalo Bills while embracing the cutting-edge stadium technology and comfort for the fans.
Centered around the team’s iconic charging buffalo the circular crest features a stylized render of the stadium symbolizing a new home for football in Western New York. The logo will appear as a jersey patch for the first home game of the 2026 season marking the next era of Buffalo Bills football.
The Buffalo will host eight opponents at the Highmark Stadium in 2026: The Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots, the New York Jets, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Chicago Bears, the Detroit Lions, and the Baltimore Ravens. The full NFL schedule will be released later this Spring.
