The 2021-2022 Bundesliga is the 59th season of the Bundesliga, Germany’s premier football competition. It began on August 13th, 2021 and will conclude on May 14th, 2022.

The ‘kicker’ stated that as of October 7th, the Bundesliga clubs are planning on the 8th matchday on October 16th, 2021, and the 9th matchday on October 23rd, 2021, with the following stadia utilization status and access conditions.

The ‘kicker’ further stated that if the COVID-19 regulations of individual Federal States change, the respective clubs will also attune to the changed rules.

2G: Access only for vaccinated fans and fans who have recovered from COVID-19.

3G: Access only for vaccinated, fans who have recovered and fans who have undergone COVID-19 test.

3G +: Access only for vaccinated, fans who have recovered and fans who can present a negative PCR test that is not older than 48 hours.

2G* (1. FSV Mainz 05): 1,000 socially distanced seats, which have been done so in the stadium, are placed as per 3G rules.

3G* (Borussia Dortmund): Fans will have to produce.

PCR test report or daily updated rapid antigen test report.
