Bundesliga stadium capacity gameday 8 and 9 Image: Mainz 05

The 2021-2022 Bundesliga is the 59th season of the Bundesliga, Germany’s premier football competition. It began on August 13th, 2021 and will conclude on May 14th, 2022.

The ‘kicker’ stated that as of October 7th, the Bundesliga clubs are planning on the 8th matchday on October 16th, 2021, and the 9th matchday on October 23rd, 2021, with the following stadia utilization status and access conditions.

The ‘kicker’ further stated that if the COVID-19 regulations of individual Federal States change, the respective clubs will also attune to the changed rules.
 

Planned fan attendance capacities on the 8th and 9th matchdays:

  • Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich residence is the 75,024-capacity Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. The top-notch residence for the next home game will likely run to packed house (100 percent) for the next home game under 3G+ conditions;
  • Bayer 04 Leverkusen residence is the 30,210-capacity BayArena in Leverkusen, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 97.80 percent for the next home game under 2G conditions;
  • Borussia Dortmund residence is the 81,365-capacity Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 82.40 percent for the next home game under 2G/3G conditions*;
  • SC Freiburg residence is the 24,000-capacity Schwarzwald-Stadion in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 57.60 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • VfL Wolfsburg residence is the 30,000-capacity Volkswagen Arena. Their facility will likely be at 83.30 percent for the next home game under 2G conditions;
  • 1. FC Köln residence is the 50,000-capacity RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne, Germany. Their facility will likely be full house (100 percent) for the next home game under 2G conditions;
  • 1. FC Union Berlin residence is the 22,012-capacity Stadion An der Alten Försterei in Köpenick, Berlin (Germany). Their facility will likely be at 50 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • RB Leipzig residence is the 41,939-capacity Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 50 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • 1. FSV Mainz 05 residence is the 33,305 MEWA Arena in Mainz, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 72.10 percent for the next home game under 2G* conditions;
  • Borussia Mönchengladbach residence is the 59,724-capacity Borussia-Park in Mönchengladbach, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 85.10 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • TSG 1899 Hoffenheim residence is the 30,150-capacity Rhein-Neckar-Arena in Sinsheim, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 50 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • VfB Stuttgart residence is the 60,441-capacity Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 41.40 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • Eintracht Frankfurt residence is the 51,500-capacity Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 77.70 percent for the next home game under 2G/3G+ conditions;
  • Hertha BSC residence is the 74,475-capacity Olympiastadion Berlin in Berlin, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 33.60 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • FC Augsburg residence is the 30,660-capacity Augsburg Arena in Augsburg, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 57.10 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • Arminia Bielefeld residence is the 26,515-capacity Bielefelder Alm in Bielefeld, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 90.9 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions;
  • VfL Bochum 1848 residence is the 27,599-capacity Ruhrstadion in Bochum, Germany. Their facility will likely be at 79.70 percent for the next home game under 3G conditions; and
  • SpVgg Greuther Fürth residence is the 16,626-capacity Trolli-Arena in Fürth, Germany. Their facility will likely be full house (100 percent) for the next home game under 3G+ conditions.
