Commented Alan Pace, Chairman, Burnley F.C., “We’re all counting down the days to the start of the Premier League season and these enhancements to the Turf Moor make our return even more eagerly anticipated. The stadium improvements have been high on the agenda for the Board for some time but our promotion to the Premier League has allowed us to accelerate these plans. We’re excited about the transformations evolving over the coming months – and grateful to ‘The Clarets’ fans for their support on this exciting journey. The positivity from the Fan Advisory Board was great to see and these changes are going to help to take the experience at Turf Moor to the next level.”

‘burnleyfootballclub.com’ further stated that the first phase of the rollout, which is subject to an ongoing planning approval process, will be in place for the opening Premier League home fixture of the campaign against their peer team – the Sunderland A.F.C. – and is being delivered early to minimize disruption once the season is underway.

Designed to create a vibrant, fan-first space that enhances the atmosphere, improves the flow and brings the supporters even closer to the action than ever before the following changes will be rolled out for the visit of the Mackems (Sunderland A.F.C. fans) on August 23rd:

Over the coming months, additional enhancements will be completed creating significantly improved facilities to evolve the overall matchday experience for the fans visiting Turf Moor.

The changes will bring greater value for the fans and create stronger links between ‘The Clarets’ supporters and the players with the aim of creating continued uplift to the matchday experience, the in-stadium atmosphere and the on-pitch performance.

Stated Scott Parker, Burnley F.C. Manager, “The Turf Moor is a fantastic place to be on matchdays. The fans help create an incredible atmosphere, particularly during the run-in to promotion last season and I’m sure these enhancements will only serve to improve things further. We’ll need Turf Moor to be a fortress for us this season – and we’re all excited about seeing the new changes implemented over the coming months.”

The Season Ticket holders in the Barnfield Stand affected by these changes will be contacted directly by the club by August 4th.
