American football is coming back to the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, as the National Football League (NFL) returns to the Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich’s home stadium with a regular-season game in 2024. The home team this year is the Carolina Panthers.
‘FC Bayern München’ quoted Andreas Jung, FC Bayern Board Member for Marketing, as stating, “We’re looking forward to welcoming the NFL to our Allianz Arena for the second time. The match in Autumn 2022 was an unforgettable experience, and we want to build on that. Since we played in the Carolina Panthers’ stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina (US) in the Summer of 2016, it’s a great feeling to welcome the Panthers to Munich now. We are also looking forward to the second team and to another NFL game in our stadium.”
