Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Atlanta Braves are offering even more food and beverage options this year with a brand-new food hall in Truist Park.
Eater Atlanta said launching ahead of the Braves home opener on April 4, the Outfield Market will showcase flavors from across Braves Country and beyond.
The new space will consist of eight food stalls, featuring a variety of Braves Country vendors alongside new options from Truist Park catering partner Delaware North.
The Outfield Market will be located on the Right Field Concourse, directly across from the previously announced Bullpen lounge, called The Pen.
In addition to the eight food stalls, a Braves Retail location will offer fans some of the top available team merchandise, and there will be a communal dining area.
There will also be a grab-n-go concessions option, and the entire area will be covered by a shade structure. A new 470 square foot LED board will ensure fans stay connected to all the action while enjoying the new food offerings.
The 41,084-capacity Truist Park is a baseball stadium in the Atlanta Metropolitan area in Georgia, United States. Opened in 2017, it is the ballpark of Major League Baseball’s (MLB’s) Atlanta Braves.
Truist Park is the perfect blend of a classic ballpark feel, modern amenities and heightened hospitality which creates a fan experience unlike any other. An intimate setting of 41,000 seats is designed to maximize sightlines making every seat feel like the best in the house.
Truist Park forms the centerpiece of the wider Battery Atlanta development, a new neighborhood 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta. It’s a destination in itself with 60 bars, restaurants, shopping precincts, hotels, and a 3,600-seat concert hall.
Hannah Basinger, Atlanta Braves Senior Vice President of Operations, said, “Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta has become a go-to destination to enjoy the top foods of the Southeast. Every year, approximately 10 million people visit our campus, and it’s essential that the offerings and service reflect our dedication to providing the ultimate guest experience.
“The addition of this new food hall is yet another way for us to partner with fan-favorite local restaurants while also introducing our guests to up-and-coming concepts and chefs that highlight the unique flavors of Braves Country.”
At the end of last year, the Braves announced a regional search for the top food items from across Braves Country, some of which will be featured in this new location within the ballpark.
New vendors and food offerings for the Outfield Market will be announced in the coming weeks.
A new ‘Closer’s Bar’ is opening just inside the Chop House Gate in the premier location adjacent to the Coors Light Chop House. The new open-air bar will serve an elevated cocktail menu with rotating signature drinks and feature a custom mural.
These renovations are being made in partnership with ROSSETTI, with Impact Development Management as an advisor on the project.
