Barry Bremner is the Executive Director of Sports Strategy at Qiddiya Investment Company, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudia Arabia (KSA). Qiddiya is one of several KSA Giga projects that underpin the Vision 2030 initiative shaping the future of Saudi Arabia. Qiddiya’s vision is to become the capital of Entertainment, Sports and Culture within the Kingdom. The Qiddiya site is 367km, with 48m visitors planned per annum and an estimated residential community of 600k people. Qiddiya has a confirmed plan to develop 140+ hotels and will be the host to over 1,000 events per year across 78 key entertainment, sports and cultural assets.

Barrys portfolio covers 30+ sports venues ranging from the iconic football stadium which will host Al Nassr and Al Hilal football teams, an equestrian district, the Jack Nicklaus and Sir Nick Faldo golf courses, winter elite sports complex, combat institute, racket centre and track & trails throughout the site.

Prior to joining Qiddiya, Barry has worked on a number of high profile sporting projects including Qatar Education City Stadium legacy, Leicester City Football Club masterplan and development, and Zayed Sports City transformation where he was the CEO for a decade.
