Pietro is a seasoned sports management professional with over 20 years of international experience in orchestrating and delivering high-profile events. His career highlights include a key leadership role in the 2006 Torino Winter Olympic Games, where he served as Deputy Competition Manager. Pietro’s expertise extends to managing prestigious alpine skiing events (FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup) and mass participation events like the New York City Marathon. At UEFA, he has consistently contributed to the organisation of major football events, including Champions League Finals, Europa League Finals, Conference League Finals, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Men’s EURO Final tournament. During his extensive tenure at UEFA, Pietro has cultivated deep expertise in football operations and stadium development, advising national associations and clubs on best practices for stadium construction and management. His core competencies include strategic event planning, venue operations, stakeholder management, and international relations.

Currently, Pietro is the Senior Stadium & Football Development Manager at UEFA, where he leads stadium development projects and serves as a UEFA Venue Director and Match Manager. Pietro studied Architecture at the Politecnico di Torino and is a qualified international ski coach and instructor. He lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, with his family and enjoys outdoor sports activities.
