Tapio Rosenius is a Finnish designer and entrepreneur based in Madrid, specializing in real-time, data-driven environments that combine light, media, sensing, and human behavior. He is the CEO and co-founder of Poet Creator Software, a platform for designing intelligent, responsive architecture across workplaces, cultural spaces, and large-scale venues.

In 2009, Tapio founded Lighting Design Collective (LDC), an international lighting design practice with studios in Madrid, Helsinki, and London. His work explores ambient communication, biomimetic systems, and affective environments—positioning buildings as expressive, adaptive participants rather than static backdrops.

Tapio’s projects have been recognized with awards including the IALD Award of Excellence, Media Architecture Biennale Award, and AV Award for Control & Management Technology of the Year. He regularly lectures internationally on design, technology, and experiential environments.
