Frankfurters (Germany) are all set to make a beeline for Barcelona (Spain).

The ‘Bild’ stated that a good number of 20,000 Frankfurters are making a scramble for bus and train tickets. The destination – Barcelona’s Camp Nou Stadium – for the quarter-final second leg of the Europa League to be held on April 14th. In fact, 10 charter flights have also been booked. The route taken will be via Madrid, Mallorca and Faro.

On April 14th, the LaLiga team, FC Barcelona (Spain), will clash against the Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany) in the quarter final second leg of the Europa League at Barça’s home pitch – Camp Nou.

Camp Nou is a football stadium in Barcelona, Spain. It opened in 1957 and has been the home stadium of FC Barcelona since its completion. With a seating capacity of 99,354, it is the largest stadium in Spain and Europe, and the fourth largest association football stadium in the world in capacity.

The ‘Bild’ further stated that Eintracht Frankfurt officially receives only 5,050 tickets for the guest block.

Said Eintracht Frankfurt’s legal counsel Phillip Reschke, “We want a powerful group of fans at Camp Nou.”

Most fans will have to procure their tickets through travel agencies.

Officially, 93,000 spectators are allowed into the 99,000-capacity Camp Nou.
