Life is a playground but the choice is always yours as to what do you want to play.

Over the last 25 years in the field of mass communication, I have had fruitful association with some of the most prestigious names in the corporate world including Lufthansa, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Bank, EDS, Sage, and many more. The knowledge and experience have qualified me to be a business consultant for international companies from different cultures. I’ve achieved both success and failure – and have learned much from both outcomes.

A native of Germany, I came to the Gulf region in 2005 and eventually Dubai and Doha became my home. My passion for sports has led me to work with prestigious organizations like Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee, Aspire Zone Foundation, All India Football Federation as well as the Turkish Football Federation.

With a heady mix of sports and communication, I founded the brand ‘Coliseum – Sports Venues of the World’ in 2010. Coliseum quickly became a well-known publication and conference in the international venue industry. My key strength remains my ability to create unique knowledge-sharing platforms and bridging the knowledge between the local and the international markets within the venue and sports marketing industries.

I’ve also published magazines for companies like Populous, gmp, COX Architecture, etc., but Coliseum remains my current preoccupation.

The success came riding on the years I had spent as a journalist. Earlier in my career, I worked for different media entities as Editor, Editor-in-Chief and Sports Reporter. I love to travel the world and visit sports and entertainment venues all around the globe. Since four decades, my sporting heart belongs to Bayern Munich.

Armed with a Master’s degree in Marketing Communication from Middlesex University of London and solid experience in sports publishing and insight in sports venue industry, I am preparing to give a shot at PhD in sports marketing.
