Susan Darrington is Chief Venues and Entertainment Officer at Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation, where she oversees venue operations, live entertainment, and the organization’s transition to Scotia Place, Calgary’s future home for sports and entertainment. With more than 25 years of experience across North and South America, Susan has led the opening and operations of major multi-purpose sports and entertainment venues including Rogers Place in Edmonton, Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil and Lumen Field in Seattle where she oversaw facility operations and services for the 68,000-seat NFL venue. Recognized as a 2024 VenuesNow All-Star, Susan is widely respected for her leadership in venue operations, fan experience and the development of world-class entertainment destinations.
