Chinese sports commentator Tang Hui along with his two partners has acquired Spanish Segunda División B side FC Jumilla, according to media reports.

Tang is an experienced La Liga commentator who once worked in PPTV Sports. The other two investors are Li Xiang, Tang’s colleague and their Argentinean business partner Ruben Iglesias.

Tang announced the acquisition on Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo. “Li Xiang and I have completed the acquisition of Segunda División B side FC Jumilla. Our business partner Ruben Iglesias becomes the Club’s new President, Li will act as Vice President and I will serve as a board director,” he said in his post on June 15.

“Meanwhile, Benito Abellan has been appointed Sporting Director. We have also invited Pichi Lucas, former manager of the third-tier Spanish club Real Oviedo, to become Jumilla’s new manager,” Tang added.

Fútbol Club Jumilla is a football team based in Jumilla, in the autonomous region of Murcia, Spain. Founded in 2011, it competes in the Spanish third-tier league Segunda División B-Group 4, playing home games at Estadio Municipal de La Hoya.
