Monster Jam to debut in the Philippines with three performances in June this year

Monster Jam motorsport event will make its debut in the Philippines this year, its promoters announced on February 17. Feld Motor Sports will bring the event to the Southeast Asian nation for the first time in conjunction with Vivre Forte Entertainment, according to an official press release.

Three Monster Jam “performances are scheduled for Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st, 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila,” according to the press release. This will also be the first Monster Jam event in the entire Southeast Asian region.

“The six truck line-up will feature some of Monster Jam’s most famous and high-profile trucks led by 4-time Monster Jam World Finals Champion Grave Digger, 11-time World Champion Max-D and the raging El Toro Loco along with high-flying freestyle motorcross and other highlights,” the official statement says.

“Feld Entertainment has a long history and bond with Filipino fans going back more than two decades,” said Magnus Danielsson, Vice President of International for Feld Motor Sports. “Manila is a key market in our Asia-Pacific growth strategy so we’re excited to be partnering with Vivre Fort Entertainment to finally make this a reality. There will definitely be more announcements to come soon!”
