Coinciding with the summer 2021 event schedule, a new and one of a kind astonishing amount of open-air event space, the first of its kind in the United Kingdom, has arrived at London Stadium. The North Scoreboard Deck provides a versatile area inside the main bowl for up to 1,000 attendees and the space is available to hire for corporate events and parties.

The 80,000-capacity London Stadium is a multipurpose outdoor stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the Stratford district of London. It is located in the Lower Lea Valley, six miles East of central London.

‘London Stadium’ stated that guests can take in the pitch and soak in the impressive surroundings of the former Olympic Stadium while watching a sports screening, or a performance on a stage while on the deck. Government-promulgated COVID-19 regulations can be safely managed within the outdoor space, while shielded from the weather by the stadium roof, in one of London’s biggest covered outdoor event spaces.

Apart from this, the pristine Premier League football pitch will be available to hire from the end of the current season, including the full gameday experience, with home and away dressing rooms, a tunnel walk, and high spec LED scoreboards. Post-match hospitality packages including the North Scoreboard Deck can be included with pitch hire for customized screenings, such as watching this year’s Olympic events within the 2012 Stadium, or to play a game of football on a Premier League pitch before watching a Euro 2020 match.

‘London Stadium’ further stated that the Stadium Island remains another distinctive feature of the site, with 20,000 m2 of event space available to hire for music and food festival setups, with multiple stages and retail outlets, or mass participation sports events combining brand and experiential activations.
