With the coronavirus situation making a marked improvement in the United Kingdom, preparations are going on in full swing at the British home of motorsport – Silverstone Circuit – to greet fans back for the array of events from now through the summer.

‘Rapid Retail’ stated that the Silverstone Circuits installed five 60sqm track shops and one superstore comprising 288sqm of retail space ahead of the Grand Prix.

The 1, 50,000-capacity Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the current home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix.

The British Grand Prix is a Grand Prix motor race organized in the United Kingdom by the Royal Automobile Club. First held in 1926, the British Grand Prix has been held annually since 1948 and has been a round of the International Automobile Foundation (FIA) Formula One World Championship every year since 1950.

‘Rapid Retail’ further stated that described as “an unrivaled weekend festival of limitless fun, energy and entertainment with plenty of on- and off-track action”, the Formula One GP will be the first major sporting event to return after a yawning gap.

It will soon be followed by ‘The Classic’ which will take place from July 30th-August 1st, and after two years, fans will squeal with joy to see the most prestigious two-wheeled championship in the world back in Great Britain with the MotoGP (Grand Prix motorcycle racing) to start from August 27th.

‘The Classic’ at the Silverstone Circuit is an epic festival weekend for the whole family. It’s got historic motorsport at its heart and entertainment for all ages.

At the Silverstone Circuit, fans are promised a safe shopping environment as they return after a long hiatus due to COVID-19 which had beaten the United Kingdom to pulp few months back sending the country into one of the strictest national lockdown. To help fans shop till they drop, the array of shops provided will help manage and break up foot traffic on big event days while creating maximum sales opportunity across high-footfall areas.

The massive superstore will serve as a central hub for official merchandise and race day mementoes. With the space available, there is the opportunity to transform the store into brand activation or fan experience.

Housing a significant retail footprint, the superstore will allow sufficient ‘breathing room’ as well as elbow space to shoppers and will comfortably stick to COVID-19 regulations laid down by the UK Government.

On-brand finishes, signage and flags used throughout the range feature the latest Silverstone style, amplifying brand emphasis with a recognizable color scheme and catchy taglines.
