Coliseum’s maiden LATAM conference is just round the corner – Coliseum Online Week LATAM Worldwide to be held from July 19th-23rd, 2021. It will be a week which will see venue aces from all over the world – with specific reference to the Latin America region – share their thoughts and exchange ideas in the virtual as regards the various challenges they face while taking up stadium projects and the lessons learned.

‘Coliseum’s’ essence and identity is its conferences – the perfect platform for venue virtuosos to deliberate at length on various issues plaguing the sports venue sector – especially in a COVID-19-struck planet – which has had calamitous effects not only on the world but also on the sports venue sector – exchange ideas and share pearls of wisdom.

The registration for complimentary delegate passes is now open (for registered and approved applicants). Please click on this link to register.

‘Coliseum’s’ 12 segments comprise the whole value-added chain of the venue business it offers – Venue DESIGN, Venue CONSTRUCTION, Venue BUSINESS, Venue TECHNOLOGY, Venue OPERATIONS, Venue SECURITY, GREEN Venue, Venue VIP (premium seating), Venue EXPERIENCE, AUDIOVISUAL Solutions, BRAND Development and Venue DESTINATION. Due to the catastrophic effects of coronavirus, one of the conference segments has been adjusted to HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY. A new segment has been introduced – HOST CITY Venues.

The crème de la crème of the sports venue sector will provide intuitive and insightful thoughts on the above segment topics in the hybrid session. The ‘expert talk’ always makes for a riveting session where one also gets to learn about the secrets of the trade.

The online session will also take a long hard look at what ails the sports venue sector in Latin America – a football-crazy region where stadia facilities leave much to be desired. However, the good news is that several new stadium projects are being implemented in the region – from Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina to Mexico – which will come up for discussions in the virtual.

‘Coliseum’s’ maiden online conference will see quite a few venue sector heavyweights of the Latin America region give their expert views on topics of the above mentioned segments. To name a few – Tatyana Orozco, CEO, Arena del Río, Colombia, Felipe De Pablo Jerez, CEO, Santiago 2023, Chile, Martin de Castro, General Manager, Club Nacional de Football, Montevideo, Uruguay, Icaro Nogueira, Manager Special Projects, CONMEBOL, Paraguay, Agustín García Puga, General Manager, Security, Ministry of Security, Argentina, Juan Pedro Prates, Vice-President, Club Estudiantes de La Plata, Argentina, and Ignacio Alonso, President, Uruguayan FA.

Top-notch venue experts will surely help the online delegates to get a good grip on pertinent venue-related subjects.

‘Coliseum’ is keeping its fingers crossed that with the vaccine rollout eventually COVID-19 and its variants will be tamed and the 2022 LATAM conference edition can be held in the physical mode.
