‘Coliseum’ is back to doing what it does best – the international conferences – which provides a 360-degree information about the sports venue sector. Brainstorming sessions are held wherein venue wizards dissect through discussions the various issues centering on the sports venue industry. Global summits are the core strength of ‘Coliseum’ and its USP as well.

Though vaccination rollout has been able to tame the virulent COVID-19 virus to a certain extent, nevertheless, its Delta variant is still causing ravage in many parts of the world. In this context, the United States is again battling with the Delta variant of coronavirus due to which ‘Coliseum’ is again being forced to hold the US conference as a virtual version this year – Coliseum Online Week US Worldwide from October 4th-8th, 2021.

The registration for complimentary delegate passes is now open (for registered and approved applicants). Please click on this link to register.

Venue past masters will present their information-replete presentations focusing on different segments of the stadium business – Venue DESIGN, Venue CONSTRUCTION, Venue BUSINESS, Venue TECHNOLOGY, Venue OPERATIONS, Venue SECURITY, GREEN Venue, Venue VIP (premium seating), Venue EXPERIENCE, AUDIOVISUAL Solutions, BRAND Development and Venue DESTINATION. The two new segments introduced are HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY and HOST CITY Venues – the former segment being introduced as the main focus of stadia these days is to concentrate on the safety aspect of fans in a world no longer being able to breathe easy, literally, due to the onslaught of COVID-19.

Up for discussion among several stadium projects on in the United States will be the Aztec Stadium project which will serve as the home of the San Diego State Aztecs football team which represents San Diego State University in collegiate football, the Major League Soccer (MLS) club Nashville SC’s under-construction stadium – Nashville Fairgrounds Stadium – and the most sustainable arena in the world – the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, the first certified zero carbon arena in the world which is all set to open its doors in October 2021.

The real focus of the conference will be to provide a platform to the venue aces to discuss their own set of challenges which they face while constructing venues and the lessons learned.

‘Coliseum’ ardently hopes that the world will soon be back on its ‘normal’ feet and vaccinations will be able to considerably bring coronavirus under control thus facilitating it to hold its next chapter of the US conference in the physical version.
