Skyline seats at Canadian Open Image: theScore

Drones hovering over the action on the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Tour just isn’t enough these days. People actually want that view for their own two eyes, no machines necessary.

Well, other than a crane hoisting them up there.

The Professional Golfers Association is the usual term for a professional association in men’s golf. It is often abbreviated to PGA. There are several PGAs around the world, including: Professional Golfers’ Association (Great Britain and Ireland).

The ‘Golf’ stated that the RBC Canadian Open will feature golf seating unlike any ever seen before.

Overlooking the 1st and 18th holes at the St. George’s Golf and Country Club in Toronto (Canada), theScore Bet Skyline Seats will elevate 22 patrons up to 100 feet above the golf championship, which takes place between June 9th and June 12th. From there, they’ll get a great view of the Toronto skyline, as well as an eye-level view of shots into the 18th green.

Sounds crazy? Sometimes a little crazy is what it takes to leave a mark, which exactly what gambling operator theScore is trying to accomplish.

The Canadian Open is a professional golf tournament in Canada. It is co-organized by Golf Canada and the PGA Tour. It was first played 118 years ago in 1904, and has been held annually since then, except for during World War I, World War II and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The St. George’s Golf and Country Club is a golf course and country club located in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in the West end neighborhood of Islington.

Score Media and Gaming Inc. is a digital media company based in Toronto, Canada, often referred to as theScore. It was founded in 2012 by John S. Levy, the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman.

Informed Aubrey Levy, Senior Vice-President of Content and Marketing at theScore, “To tee off our partnership with Golf Canada (the governing body of golf in Canada) and the RBC Canadian Open, we wanted to create a memorable and completely unique golf viewing experience that adds real value for fans attending Canada’s premier golf event.”

The ‘Golf’ further stated that these skyline seats will include food and drink, and will bring fans up to their lofty perch for 30 minutes at a time. It’s all part of various activations by theScore in an attempt to gain attention and memberships to its betting platforms. The seats will be available on each day of the competition, Thursday through Sunday, June 9th to June 12th.

The only question that remains is an obvious one: Would you take part?
