All Net Arena - Las Vegas

Following a long delay, work has finally started at the All Net Arena site. The All Net Arena is being built at a cost of $1.4 billion on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. A spectacular 22,000-seat arena covering an area of 860,000-square-foot is at the heart of the project. The arena will also feature a unique retractable roof.

The entire project will inlcude the Victory Plaza shopping and dining district and a 44-story hotel with 500 specialty suites. Initial plans were to open the All Net Arena by early this year. However the delay in construction has seen the completion date being pushed back by nearly two years. If all goes well, the landmark site will see the light of the day some time in 2019.

The idea of a multi-purpose sports arena, hotel, and restaurant on vacant land where the Wet n’ Wild water park used to be goes back to 2010. But while the All Net project got stuck in lawsuits, the MGM Resorts got past them and opened the T-Mobile arena a couple miles down the Strip.

Until now, the All Net site has sat dormant. Earth moving equipment and dirt haulers are now working the 27-acre site, the lasvegasnow.com reported. The quoted a brief email from All Net Arena as saying: “Construction is underway and completion by 2019.”

More details are expected to be revealed at Coliseum Summit AMERICAS, April 19-20, 2017 at Las Vegas, Nevada. Continue to follow Coliseum Summit, a global series of stadium and arena business conferences, for latest updates from around the world.
