Nathan Kosky says that AEG ensures that The O2 Arena in London (UK) offers top-tier premium experiences.

AEG Europe owns and operates The O2 Arena in London (UK). Premium at The O2 is one of London’s most unique VIP experiences where guests will feel like the stars of the show. The venue’s VIP hospitality packages give fans access to exclusive areas, private bars and luxurious suites – with options for single events or year-round access through annual memberships.

Nathan Kosky first joined AEG in 2005 as part of the start-up team for The O2. In his current role as the Vice-President of the UK Global Partnerships team he is responsible for overseeing both sponsorship and premium seating at The O2 and other AEG assets in the United Kingdom and France.

In an exclusive interaction with Coliseum, Nathan Kosky, Vice-President (VP), Global Partnerships, AEG Europe, UK, says that AEG wants to give the fans something extraordinary at The O2 Arena and how they can curate it to a premium offering.

AEG

From epic concerts to premier music festivals to heart-stopping sporting events, AEG has been giving the world reason to cheer for more than 20 years. Headquartered in Los Angeles (US) it is the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company and operate on five continents entertaining over 160 million guests annually through its worldwide network of more than 300 venues, powerful sports franchises and music brands, integrated entertainment districts, and global sponsorship activations.

The O2 Arena

The 20,000-capacity O2 Arena, commonly known as the O2, is a multipurpose indoor arena in the center of The O2 entertainment district on the Greenwich Peninsula in Southeast London, England (UK). It opened in its present form in 2007.

Premium Seating

Noted Nathan Kosky, “Premium seating today is not just about luxury. It is more about accessibility. It is not just about Boxes, it is seats behind the dugouts, it is seats by the side of the stage and the standing areas.”

He further stated that the food options too are enormous today and fans can have anything they want in a really modern way with top chefs involved.

Kosky added, “Experience can be different things with different people. You come from different organizations with different stadiums, different customers and at The O2 Arena we are probably blessed with all of them. We have different audience at The O2 and what’s premium to someone there is going to be different for somebody else. Therefore, what is the experience. For us it has to be experience with different opportunities. People that want to come to one show, people that want to have year-round membership. So, there is that huge sort of flexibility.”

The O2 Arena is AEG’s landmark venue – “I think it’s a constant evolution and offering newest space where we take it throughout the suites. The back of the arena which was traditionally a hall and we created probably the coolest place in the arena. It’s really outstanding. What are the other things that we can do in the arena. We have 96 suites and how much more creative can you be with those spaces. We have 20-30 must-come-to-events every year, maybe more. It is just about the space we have and you can really get creative in a venue.”

Wrap-up

Nathan Kosky wrapped up by stating, “The O2 Arena is equipped with tech bells and whistles and the Gen Z and millennials just want to show what experience they had. From the Suite option we have created a whole range of different things. I think there are options that we will continue to grow and we will make it creative.”
