A new Dracula theme park is getting ready to unleash your fears near Bucharest, Romania. The $1.2 billion project, called Dracula Land, will span 160 hectares and aims to be much more than a conventional amusement park.

‘luxurylaunches.com’ stated that plans include a 22,500-seat multifunctional arena for concerts, festivals, esports, and international events.

The first of its kind, Dracula Land will cover an impressive 780,000 m², feature six lands, offer more than 40 attractions, and lean heavily on state-of-the-art technology. The vision goes beyond typical theme-park setups. The development also includes three on-site hotels along with a business and tech hub pitched at around 15,000 m² featuring 1,000+ workstations focused on gaming, artificial intelligence (AI), and other digital creative industries.

Adding to the ‘destination City’ ambition is a 4.5-kilometer racing circuit and motor park complete with supporting facilities designed for events and high-octane experiences beyond the rides.

‘luxurylaunches.com’ further stated that thrills may reach a new peak when Dracula Land opens in 2027.

Said Dragoș Dobrescu, Founder of Dracula Land, “Dracula Land brings together everything I’ve learned in real estate – Discipline, rigor, vision, and the ability to keep complex teams with very different specializations together. But more importantly, it adds a story that gives meaning to every square meter built. For me, Dracula Land is a national project, a symbol that Romania can and must build landmarks, not just buildings or simple real estate projects.”

According to current estimates, Dracula Land will generate more than 5,000 jobs in tourism, technology and services and it is expected to welcome approximately three million visitors annually in the first phase.
