Tennessee Titans key executive changes Image: MANICA and New Nissan Stadium

The National Football League (NFL) team Tennessee Titans (US) underwent a major front-office shakeup in October 2026 parting ways with three top business executives as part of a corporate restructuring ahead of their new stadium launch.

Executives Fired

‘yahoo!sports’ stated that Erin Swartz, whose title was the Senior Vice-President of Brand Marketing, is out just months after the team enthusiastically unveiled the new uniforms she was in charge of redesigning. Also out are the Senior Vice-President (SVP) and the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Adam Nuse and the Vice-President (VP) of Creative Charles Jensen.

The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee (US). The Titans compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) South Division. The Titans play their home games at the Nissan Stadium. The team will move to an indoor stadium with the same name in 2027.

The 69,143-seat Nissan Stadium is a multipurpose stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and the Davidson County it is primarily used for football and is the home field of the National Football League (NFL) team Tennessee Titans.

The Tennessee Titans are building a new, enclosed 60,000-seat Nissan Stadium on the East Bank of the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee (US) scheduled to open in February 2027. The 60,000-seat stadium is projected to cost $2.1 billion, including $1.26 billion of public money – the largest stadium subsidy in United States history. It is being built next to the existing Nissan Stadium which will be demolished after its completion.

Titans Football Change

The Titans sent out a statement which read, “As the Titans prepare for the opening of our new stadium and the future of Titans football we are making changes to how we lead the business side of the organization. We will hire an Executive Vice- President (EVP) and the Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead our revenue, marketing and communications teams. As part of these changes, Adam Nuse, Erin Swartz and Charles Jensen are leaving the organization. We are grateful for everything they have contributed to the Titans and wish them the best in their future endeavors.”

No Clear Picture

‘yahoo!sports’ further stated that it’s unclear why the three were fired. The Tennessee Titans have gone through an ugly stretch on the field finishing 3-14 each of the last two seasons and starting 0-4 this year. But the future appears bright for the business of the franchise which is moving into a new stadium next year and will host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030.

The three team Vice-Presidents (VP), however, will not be a part of that bright future.

The Super Bowl LXIV is the upcoming American football championship game of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2029 season. The game is scheduled to be played on February 10th, 2030, at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee (US).
