The first tender has been floated recently to change the location of the TV infrastructure of Arena Zabrze in Poland within the facility itself.

‘Arena Zabrze’ stated that the first tender was floated following the financial go-ahead given as regards the construction of the fourth stand of Arena Zabrze.

The 24,563-capacity Arena Zabrze, also known as the Ernst-Pohl-Stadion, is a football stadium in Zabrze, Poland. It is the home ground of Górnik Zabrze. Originally constructed in 1934, it is currently in the process of complete redecoration.

Górnik Zabrze Spółka Akcyjna, commonly referred to as Górnik Zabrze S.A. or simply Górnik Zabrze, is a Polish football club from Zabrze, Poland. Górnik is one of the most successful Polish football clubs in history, winning the second most Polish Championship titles together with the Polish association football club Ruch Chorzów.

The TV infrastructure of the stadium will be shifted to another space of the facility.

So long, the cameras broadcasting Górnik Zabrze matches sit within the old West Stand, which will soon be pulled down. The cameras will now be placed bang on the opposite side.

More details as regards the next stages of the tender exercise will be announced in details in the near future.

‘Arena Zabrze’ further stated that the decision to construct the fourth stand of Arena Zabrze holds significance. Bank Pekao S.A. is providing loan to construct the same.

Bank Pekao S.A. is currently the second largest bank in Poland with its headquarters in Warsaw. The Italian bank UniCredit used to own 59 percent of the company. It sold the bank in December 2016.

Maintained Dr. Małgorzata Mańka-Szulik, the Mayor of Zabrze, “We have cleared all obstacles which came up in the preliminary phase as regards constructing the fourth stand of the arena. Now we will plunge headlong into implementing the same.”
