The most exclusive premium hospitality experience at the A’s future ballpark in Las Vegas has sold out 17 months ahead of its scheduled opening in 2028.

MLB.com said that the Athletic Club, located behind home plate, is designed as a destination within the ballpark, bringing together thoughtful hospitality, dining, and baseball in an intimate setting unlike other traditional premium spaces.

The club is being developed in partnership with acclaimed hospitality leader Will Guidara and Aramark Sports + Entertainment, bringing together their expertise to create an elevated and distinctive hospitality experience.

The Athletic Club will feature a private entrance, a distinctive speakeasy-inspired aesthetic, with design details that pay tribute to the A’s storied history.

Its dining experience draws inspiration from the atmosphere of a classic steakhouse, creating a setting that feels both deeply connected to baseball and distinctly Las Vegas.

The Athletics (often referred to as the ‘A’s’) are an American professional baseball team currently based in West Sacramento, California (US). The Athletics compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) West Division.

The Athletics’ new ballpark is a $1.75 billion, 33,000-seat climate-controlled domed stadium currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip at the former site of the Tropicana Las Vegas (US) scheduled to open for the 2028 MLB season.

Marc Badain, president of the Athletics, said, “What stands out most about the response to the Athletic Club is not just that it sold out, but also who is buying it.

“Three out of every four buyers are from Southern Nevada, and nearly 70% are individuals rather than businesses. That tells us something important about the future of the A’s in Las Vegas – our fanbase is already taking shape and there’s real excitement in the community about what’s to come.”

Restaurateur and author Will Guidara added, “Excellence comes through thousands of little details executed perfectly.

“That’s how we’re approaching the design of every square inch of this ballpark. And I cannot wait for people to walk in and breathe life into what we’ve built.”

Alicia Wonzicki Vice President of Design + Development at Aramark said, “The enthusiasm for The Athletic Club validates what we’ve seen across sports and entertainment: fans are looking for experiences that feel more personal and immersive.

“In partnership with the A’s and Will Guidara, we’re creating hospitality that is intentional, personalized, and centered around connection.

“The Athletic Club reflects our shared commitment to elevating the fan experience through memorable moments, exceptional service, and a sense of belonging that extends beyond the game itself.”

Further premium offerings

The Athletic Club is one part of a broader premium hospitality portfolio designed to give fans different ways to experience events at the future ballpark.

With the Athletic Club now sold out, the Diamond Club is now the most exclusive premium offering currently available, with limited space remaining.

Located adjacent to the Athletic Club behind home plate on the field level, the Diamond Club is an all-inclusive social hub featuring Vegas-inspired food stations inclusive of locally curated dishes, chef’s specials, and a bold selection of elevated game day favorites.

Seats are located behind home plate, just rows behind the catcher.

In addition to the Diamond Club, Dugout Clubs and Legends Lounge seats are also on sale.

Prospective buyers looking to learn more about the A’s ballpark in Las Vegas can schedule an interactive tour of the ballpark at the A’s Experience Center at UnCommons, where they can explore available suites, clubs, and premium seating.
