Fiserv Forum to increase capacity to 16500 Image: Visit Milwaukee

In keeping with the Milwaukee Health Department guidelines, the National Basketball Association (NBA) team Milwaukee Bucks has increased capacity at its residence – Fiserv Forum (US) – to 16,500 fans for the remainder of the 2021 NBA Playoffs, beginning June 1st for a potential Game 5. Earlier, Fiserv Forum had been given the nod to hold 9,100 fans for the playoffs keeping in mind the COVID-19 situation.

The ‘NBA’ stated that as part of the expanded capacity, seating will no longer be in pods or staggered in the arena bowl, however, fans will be still be required to wear face coverings while inside Fiserv Forum, except when actively eating or drinking. Doors will now open 60 minutes prior to tip off, instead of 90 minutes as they had been.

The Milwaukee Bucks are an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee (US). The Bucks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the League’s Eastern Conference Central Division. The team was founded in 1968 as an expansion team, and play at the Fiserv Forum.

The 17,341-capacity Fiserv Forum is a multipurpose arena located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin (US). It is the home of the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The ‘NBA’ further stated that capacity limits on the plaza at Fiserv Forum and locations within Deer District will also be removed for the remainder of the postseason as the coronavirus situation has made a marked improvement in the United States with the rollout of vaccines.

The 2021 NBA playoffs is a postseason tournament of the National Basketball Association’s 2020-2021 seasons. The playoffs began on May 22nd, 2021. It will end with the 2021 NBA Finals in July.

The 2021 NBA Finals dates are – July 8th, 2021 to July 22nd, 2021.

Additional tickets for any potential First Round games at Fiserv Forum went on sale for the public from May 27th at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets can be purchased at www.bucks.com/playoffs or through the Bucks mobile app. Season ticket members will receive separate communication on how to purchase newly-released locations, how to change seat locations or purchase additional seats for potential future playoff games.

Fiserv Forum’s full capacity is considered to be 16,500 due to the change in courtside configuration that has been put in place during the playoffs.
