A varied music and entertainment program is underway at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany – the LIVE IM PARK event series has started under the motto ‘A Small Stage for Big Moments’.

The Deutsche Bank Park is a retractable roof sports stadium in Frankfurt, Germany. The home stadium of the football club Eintracht Frankfurt, it was opened in 1925.

The above event has started rolling with stringent COVID-19 rules and hygiene concept in place. Only 250 people per event are being allowed into the arena.

The Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt were also allowed to play in front of onlookers in their residence – Deutsche Bank Park. With the LIVE IM PARK series of events, spectators have returned both for soccer and concerts.

The real Frankfurt flavor, the multicultural band ‘THE GYPSYS’, heralded the return of music and culture to the facility. Tickets for the upcoming events are available.

On October 9th, around 200 music lovers soothed themselves and swayed to the tune of current chartbusters, soulful renditions and old classics. On October 10th, the DJ duo Buffalo & Wallace brought back decade-old hits with their ‘Alles 90er Show’ and, as per the organizers, ensured a carnival-like atmosphere with people following social distancing rules in toto.

Patrik Meyer, Managing Director, Deutsche Bank Park, and organizer of the LIVE IM PARK event series, stated that he was overwhelmed with the emotional outpourings – “After a 2020 summer which was without events, we were not sure when we would be able to cherish an event where people would enjoy to the hilt together. LIVE IM PARK event series has made it possible.”

Added Meyer, “Till the other day, artistes got no opportunity to perform, event venues were shuttered and the audience was left reminiscing past events and keeping fingers crossed that the COVID-19 situation would improve and good days will be back once again. With our LIVE IM PARK events we are trying to take the first step together with regional artistes and we are very happy about the great feedback that we have got from our visitors.”

A small event stage was set up in front of the upholstered business seats especially for the new event format, so that visitors could enjoy the music and entertainment program al fresco, but at the same time stay shielded from the vagaries of weather.

The hygiene concept has been so adapted that music buffs can visit the venue without a care in the world. Tickets have been personalized and the 250 visitors allowed per day for the music fiesta will have to strictly maintain a distance of 1.5 meters.

The LIVE IM PARK event series offering fun and entertainment will continue till October 25th, 2020, and people can visit the stadium and sit back and soothe their ‘COVID-frayed nerves’.
