The Premier League team Everton Football Club has announced the leading international commercial law firm Hill Dickinson as the official naming rights partner for the club’s new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in England (UK) in a long-term agreement that will see the iconic venue named the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

It has been termed as a bold-strategic naming rights deal and a transformational partnership.

‘Everton Football Club’ stated that the above transformational partnership represents one of the largest stadium naming rights deals in Europe. It brings together two Liverpool institutions united by a global outlook, a deep commitment to the City of Liverpool and a shared history that dates back to the very founding of Everton in 1878.

The Everton Football Club is a professional association football club based in Liverpool, England (UK). The club competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football. Everton has spent more seasons in England’s top division than any other club (121) and has been crowned league champions on nine occasions.

Throughout its 146-year history Everton has been known as a family-oriented club based on proud traditions and is affectionately referred to as ‘The People’s Club’. Those traditions have also encouraged innovation ensuring Everton has remained one of the great pioneering clubs in the history of the game. The first club to construct a purpose-built football stadium its home, the Goodison Park is one of the most revered stadiums in England. From Summer 2025 the club will be looking to maintain those traditions in a new 52,888-capacity Hill Dickinson Stadium ensuring the club’s roots remains in North Liverpool for generations to come.

The Goodison Park is a football stadium in Walton, Liverpool, England (UK) that was the home of the Premier League club Everton F.C. from 1892 until 2025. It will become the home of Everton Women’s team from 2025. It is two miles North of the City Centre and has an all-seated capacity of 39,414.

The 52,888-capacity Everton Stadium, currently known as the Hill Dickinson Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Vauxhall, Liverpool, England (UK). It became the home ground for the Everton F.C. ahead of the 2025-2026 seasons replacing the Goodison Park.

Liverpool (UK)-based the Hill Dickinson LLP is a leading international commercial law firm employing over 1,000 people including more than 200 partners and Legal Directors. Founded in 1810 it has 11 offices across the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. Hill Dickinson’s international growth has been underpinned by the hallmarks that also define Everton – with both organizations striving for excellence, supporting their local communities and delivering long-term positive impacts.

‘Everton Football Club’ further stated that set to officially open in August this year the 52,888-capacity Hill Dickinson Stadium will be a new home for the Evertonians and a year-round destination for major sport, music, entertainment, business, and cultural events.

As the centerpiece of the wider regeneration of North Liverpool the Hill Dickinson Stadium will deliver thousands of jobs, attract significant inward investment and serve as a catalyst for long-term social and economic growth in the City.

Maintained Angus Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Everton F.C., “Welcoming Hill Dickinson as our naming rights partner is a bold and strategic step forward. This partnership goes beyond branding – it’s a shared commitment to progress, excellence and the regeneration of our City. The Hill Dickinson Stadium will stand as a symbol of Everton’s ambitions, our values and the global future we are building together.”

The naming rights agreement with Hill Dickinson will create a shared legacy that extends beyond the matchdays.

Hill Dickinson will work closely with Everton in the Community (one of United Kingdom’s top sporting charities) helping to amplify the reach and impact of the club’s award-winning charitable programs and its own Hill Dickinson Foundation (a charitable initiative) across Merseyside and beyond.

Commented Craig Scott, head honcho, Hill Dickinson, “To put our name to Everton’s new stadium is a once-in-a-generation opportunity. We believe deeply in what this project stands for – a bold, transformational vision for Liverpool and its future. This partnership is about legacy, ambition and the power of two globally recognized organizations coming together to make a difference. As Hill Dickinson continues to grow internationally we remain proud of our Liverpool roots – and we are honored to be part of one of the most exciting waterfront developments in Europe.”

Further announcements will be made in due course including partnership community programs, commercial activations and milestone moments leading up to the opening of the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

One of the original Trustees at the time Everton Football Club was formed was Will Cuff who went on to establish Cuff Roberts, a Liverpool law firm. The Liverpool office of Cuff Roberts was eventually acquired by Hill Dickinson in 2010 with several former Cuff Roberts partners remaining at the firm today. Everton and Hill Dickinson have a shared history and now a shared future.
